PERIO ARENA at the 2026 Annual Congress (Rimini, March 19–21) - Call for Keynote Speakers
The Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP) is thrilled to announce a call for applications to select 3 keynote speakers for the “Perio Arena” session at the 2026 SIdP Congress.
You will have the opportunity to join this innovative session of the Congress alongside a lineup of leading voices in periodontology, including Clotilde Carra, Filippo Graziani, Diego Capri, Dino Calzavara, and Giovan Paolo Pini Prato, coordinated by Giacomo Baima and Mario Romandini. This is a unique opportunity to lecture on the main stage of one of the world’s most influential congresses in the field!
Selection Process (2-stage):
- Initial screening. Submit the on-line form by November 30, 2025 by December 7, 2025.
- Shortlist stage: Five shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a video and their full presentation (or an extract of it) by January 15, 2026.
Three speakers will be finally selected and added to the official SIdP Congress program.
“HENRY M. GOLDMAN” AWARD 2026
Those wishing to submit one or more papers for the "H.M. Goldman" prize to be awarded during the Annual Congress 2026 (Rimini I, 19-21 March), must send the text, in electronic format for evalutaion, for the purpose of acceptance by SIdP Scientific Committee. Papers submitted may cover basic research, laboratory research, or clinical research (clinical trials or innovative surgical techniques) provided they pertain to the different aspects of scientific and clinical research in periodontology and implant therapy.

“GIORGIO VOGEL” AWARD 2026
The Giorgio Vogel Award aims to further involve all members of the Society and in particular those young clinicians who wish to interact with other colleagues and experts in Periodontology in interactive open-space session as part of the Annual Congress 2026 (Rimini I, 19-21 March). The clinical case should consider periodontal surgery, implant surgery and/or tissue regeneration.

“CLAUDIO CEVENINI” AWARD 2026
SIdP has established an annual Award, reserved for its Dental Hygienist Members, to honor the memory of the active member Claudio Cevenini. The goal of this Award is to involve Dental Hygienists through the presentation of a clinical case, in a interactive open-space session as part of the Annual Congress 2026 (Rimini I, 19-21 March)

GIUSEPPE CARDAROPOLI Award for Dentists and MICHELE CAGIDIACO Award for Dental Hygienists
On the occasion of the 2026 Annual Congress (Rimini, March 19–21), SIdP is convening a joint research session for Dentists and Dental Hygienists, to be held in the form of oral presentations, during which scientific studies in the field of Periodontology and Implantology will be evaluated for the assignment of two separate awards: 1) To honor the memory of Dr. Giuseppe Cardaropoli; 2) To honor the memory of Dr. Michele Cagidiaco.
